A classic
Loopen is a classic of a roller coaster, and our pride ever since we opened the park in 1988. The red track with the characteristic loop and the yellow carriages framed by the forest, has been many people's first encounter with a "proper" roller coaster and cable car.
The wonderful feeling
You can almost feel the tickle in your stomach already when you see the loop from the square at the Circle-K Traffic School on Route 66. When you sit in one of the carts, it slowly goes up before quickly going down and rolling around through the loop and dosages in a furious speed. You get both the fantastic feeling of speed, a real adrenaline kick and the feeling of hanging upside down all in one package.
Loopen - Part of Route 66
Loopen has become part of 66 with a new and fresh station area. Route 66 is our own area for speed, excitement and the smell of burnt rubber. Here you can experience the typical elements of Route 66; motorcycles, driving and garages. On Route 66 you will find other attractions such as SpeedMonster, Store Radiobiler and Sverre.
Tornado
The loop was Norway's first proper roller coaster. It is not without reason that we call the course a classic. Right up until 1998, the track was called Tornado, not without reason. Not a course for the faintest of souls, but certainly for everyone else. The loop we give you an experience you won't soon forget!
P.S! If you like Loopen, you must of course try SpeedMonster.
